The Strike Saver – Heavy Duty Board Line Release eliminates "lag line" and provides you with control of your fish…its keeps the hook set – keeps the line tight no matter how far behind the boat you run the lure. The heavy duty release is color coded for the Port (Red) and the Starboard (Green) sides of the boat and uses a Dubros commercial line release that has a tension screw to adjust to handle both light and heavy more demanding lures and presentations. This heavy duty release can handle big stick baits and spoons, flashers and dodgers, lead core line, inline weights and even a dipsy diver. Because of the offset "lag line hook" opening design, you will need to select the Red heavy duty release for use on the Port side of the boat. Looking out the back of the boat this would run on the planer board line to the right. The Green heavy duty release has the "lag line hook" opening to the left and is designed for the Starboard side of the boat. Looking out the back this Green heavy duty release would be run on the planer board line to the left. Picking up one of each color will make sure you can run one on both sides of your boat.
